I was getting a little tired of how plain the old design looked. It was simple and served its purpose, but this site was definitely in need of a little bit of modernization, and here is the result!

There are still a few small kinks to work out, but I think it's a lot more pleasing to the eye than the previous page, and there's no drop in functionality (that I know of, lol). Please let me know what you all think!

..is a question I've heard a lot from my readers lately.

Wow...my sincerest apologies for the lapse in coverage over the past several months. To be honest, I've just been working my tail off and haven't had much time to maintain here.

However, I will be back in action here and giving you the same great Cleveland Browns coverage you've grown accustomed to here at the Dawg Pound. Keep coming by, as we'll be updating (as well as backtracking to older news) shortly!

Just a few updates to let you all know about your favorite Browns blog:

- The Barking Lot will be changing its name. When we started up our forums, the name seemed just about perfect. However, unbeknown to me at the time, my buddy Dune at Dawg Bones has been putting out a podcast by the same name for quite some time now. I really don't want to steal Dune's thunder, so we'll be taking suggestions for a while here for new names.

- We have been getting plenty of readers here, but it seems that many are keeping their opinions to themselves. Just a reminder that the Dawg Pound wants to hear what you think! You can click the "Comments" link under any one of the posts here to speak your mind on whatever topic is being discussed.

Apparently after last week's debacle, I fear I have been struck by the same Injury Bug that has been attacking my beloved Cleveland Browns, and I have suffered an acute Cranial-Rectal Inversion. While venting about last week's game, I had accidentally said that the Browns would go on to take on the Titans. This is incorrect, and it somehow reminds me that things could in fact look worse for the Browns than they do right about now.

Pardon me for not peeing myself in excitement.

In other news, the Dawg Pound is now the proud papa of our very own Cleveland Browns forum, The Barking Lot! Join the conversation, or start one yourself! Registration is completely free!
